Cheesecakes in Vegas!!!

We’re pleased to announce that the Cheesecake Burlesque Revue will have two representatives at the 2010 Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend in Las Vegas!

The Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend (formerly Exotic World Weekend) is a world class burlesque festival and reunion of the burlesque world's Vintage Vixen's! Betsy Bottomdollar and Champagne Sparkles will share the stage on June 2, 2010 with some of the world's best burlesque performers, incuding: Burgundy Brixx (British Columbia), Dinah Might (London), Flame Cynders (San Francisco), Frenchie Kiss (Chicago), Gigi La Femme (Brooklyn), Gilbert (Tokyo, Japan), Leroi the Girlboi (New York, NY), and Polly Wood (Seattle). On the road again!!!

2010 is starting off with a bang! We're just back from our trip to northern BC - Kitimat and Prince Rupert! We brought sparkle, laughs and boobies to warm up this cold, dark winter! Next we hop on the bus and head to Nelson BC, where we'll be at the Capitol Theatre and holding a workshop at the Moving Centre! Join us!

Cheesecakes on the Road!!!

The Cheesecakes just had an amazing tour in the Okanagan, performing a nearly sold out show at Kelowna's Rotary Centre for the Arts, performing to a raucous crowd in Enderby and back to Kelowna for the RCA Gala Fundraiser - Evergreen Jazz'd! Based on the crowd reactions we'll be back - and SOON!

The Cheesecakes Now Offer Workshops!!!

The Cheesecakes have been honing our skills and now we feel ready to pass some of our hard earned knowledge along! We are happy to provide workshops for private parties (bachelorette parties, ladies!?!), festivals and conferences!

We'll teach you about:

• History of Burlesque - learn where it all began
• Stage Name Game - create your burlesque persona and LIVE IT!
• Burlesque Movement - learn to bump & grind, shimmy and shake!
• Making the most of props - boas, gloves and more!
• Tassel Twirling Tit-orial - with our world famous nipple tassels!
• Putting it all together to music - practice your new skills to take home!

We have had so many wonderful opportunities in the past 3 years to perform and to grow as a troupe, due in large part to the connections we have made in Victoria.
