Cheesecake of the Month for January is Kitten Kaboodle

How did you get your name?
I love puns, alliteration and animals - so it just kind of came together. Initially I was courting the name "Ginny Tonic", but chose Kitten instead.

What inspires you?
Anything that goes above and beyond expectation. People that push fabulousness one step further. I love fantastical, magical surprises and things that are really funny.

Which of your acts is your current favourite?
I'm really digging my Sugarplum Fairy Act - mostly 'cause I get to eat gingerbread at the end. But my all-time favourite act to perform is the Xena and Gabrielle duo I do with Ricky Hard.

What's the oddest audience you have performed for?
We did a Valentine's Day show at an old folks home. A resident had died, and his son thought he would pay tribute to his dad by doing something his dad would have enjoyed, so he hired us to do a small show (to bras only) at the home. It was the most awkward show ever. A friend who worked there at the time asked one of the little old ladies the next day how she liked the show. She replied - "It would have been better if they had kept their clothes on!" Never again.....

If you weren't a burlesque performer, what else do you see yourself doing?
I had never performed before the Cheesecakes, except for a few elementary school plays and some awful air bands in junior high - but I have always been drawn to live theatre. I would probably be doing set and costume design for an amateur theatre in town.
